2 JAPS ACCUSED OF HIDING FUNDS
SACRAMENTO, Thursday, Dec. 18.--(AP)--Tamaza Tanikawa, 60 years old, and Karaki Kozumi, 41, both Japanese aliens, are charged with concealing more than $12,000 in cash and thus violating government regulations for control of the assets of Japanese nationals in this country.
The two were arraigned yesterday before a United States commissioner on a complaint signed by Charles Rich, federal agent. Bail was set at $5,000 each.
Tanikawa was identified as vice president of the Japanese Association at nearby Florin, and Kozumi as an employe [employee] of a grocery store there.
