Japanese And Chinese Won't Play Football

By Associated Press.

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, Jan. 7. -- Japan and China, as represented by San Francisco's Oriental colonies, have severed athletic relations.

The break was disclosed today with announcement the annual Japanese-Chinese football game is definitely off.

Last year the Chinese played over protest of their elders and were timid about going home when they lost, 13 to 12.

The Japanese team will see action, however, it was announced, in a contest here next Sunday with the Oliver Athletic Club eleven of Los Angeles, also composed of Japanese.
