CALIFORNIA ALIEN LAND BAN UPHELD

WASHINGTON, Monday, Feb. 20. -- The Supreme Court today refused to hear argument on an attack on the validity of the California alien land law which prohibits the operation of farm lands by Orientals not eligible for citizenship.

The decision was made in the case of George Morrison, a Californian, who was convicted of conspiring with H.K. Osaki, a Japanese, to put Ozaki in charge of a farm in San Diego.
