Congress Is Asked To Aid Japanese

Two resolutions asking Congress to assist Japanese in America were sent yesterday by Seattle Japanese to Representative Albert Johnson of Washington, chairman of the House immigration committee. One requests that American-born women of Japanese ancestry be permitted to retain their citizenship in the event of their marriage to an alien. The other urges that Japanese-born men who served in the American Army during the World War be granted citizenship.

The resolutions were adopted by the Japanese-American Citizenship League.
