Liquor Smuggler Fined After Pleading Guilty

The first of those indicted by the recent Grand Jury to appear in court, Y. Nakamura, charged with smuggling liquor, appeared before Federal Judge George M. Bourquin today and pleaded guilty. He was fined $50 and given three months to pay the fine. This will permit him to make a round trip on a ship, and earn money enough to pay the fine, his attorney said.
