Pleads Not Guilty In Alien Land Law Case

Thomas Chapman of Kent pleaded not guilty to a charge of violating the alien land law by assisting T. Tominaka to reap the profits from twenty acres of garden land, before Superior Judge A.W. Frater yeterday [yesterday].

Chapman, a few minutes previously, filed a bond to guarantee his appearance for trial. County Commissioner Frank H. Paul and Frank Terrace, good roads advocate and White River Valley pioneer, signed Chapman's bond.
