Asiatics Urged to Affiliate With Union Organization

HONOLULU, Friday, April 22. -- (Correspondence of Associated Press.) -- The Japanese Federation of Labor, which in January last called a strike of thousands of its members in the sugar cane fields of the island of Oahu and which is maintaining the walkout, has been invited to make application for affiliation with the American Federation of Labor, according to officials of the Honolulu Central Labor Council.

Recently officials of the council wrote the Japanese federation that if it would place its application in writing the council would recommend that it be received in affiliation with the American Federation.
