HOTEL OWNERS PAY FINES

Three Found Guilty of Failing to Give Heat; Others Forfeit.

Five cases called in Police Court yesterday afternoon charging the defendants with violating the ordinance requiring a proper temperature in apartment houses and hotels, and known as "the insufficient heat" ordinance, resulted in forfeiture of $25 bail in two instances, and payment of $20 fines in the other cases.

Those forfeiting bail were L.N. Lisle, Hollywood Apartments, 118 John St., and M. Yamanobe, Antlers Hotel, 320 Union St. Those to pay $20 fines were H. Aoki, Sherman Hotel, First Avenue and Seneca Street Mrs. M. Ornstein, Rosemont Apartments, 214 13th Ave. N., and E. Kolwia, Abraham Apartments, 2624 Western Ave. The proprietors were all arrested on warrants issued on complaint of Chris R. Frasch of the Health Department, who appeared as the prosecuting witness.
