JAPANESE LABOR LINES UP IN SUPPORT OF STRIKE

Japanese labor in Seattle today was reported as lining up in support of the proposed general strike. Following the lead of Japanese barbers, who, as members of the barbers' local, decided several days ago to go out, Japanese dye workers and tailors, members of union locals, met last night and decided to strike with the other union men of their trade.

It was said at the Labor Temple today that Japanese bakers had given assurances they would go out of white bakers did, and that similar assurances had been received from Japanese cooks and waiters, insuring that Japanese bread shops and all Japanese restaurants will close.

The Japanese bakers and the cooks and waiters have an organization of their own not affiliated with the American Federation of Labor or the Local Labor Council, but the barbers, dye workers and tailors are members of the same locals as white workmen.
