JAPANESE FARMERS ARE AFTER HUCKSTERS

Producers Band Together to Eliminate Undesirable Agents From Market.

With a view of eliminating undesirable Japanese agents from the Pike Place Public Market, 110 Japanese farmers from Green Lake, Winslow, Brymer, Bellevue, Pontiac, Sunnydale, White River Valley and Duwamish have formed the Seattle Farmers' Association, and a list of members was yesterday filed with Commissioner of Health J.S. McBride, in control of the market.

The object of the association is to rid the market of Japanese who are not bona fide farmers and producers. The list is to be augmented by the names of members in other sections south of the city, so that more than 200 Japanese producers will be represented in the one organization.
