VALLEY FARMERS OPPOSE CHANGE IN LAND LAW

AUBURN, Wednesday, Jan. 15. Two hundred and fifty residents of the White River Valley last night attended a meeting of the South End Development League held in the high school auditorium here and which three speakers were scheduled to appear. On account of previous engagements but one made an appearance. Questions of interest to residents of the valley were discussed and it seemed to be the sentiment of the meeting that the proposed repeal of the state constitution enabling aliens to own land should not be passed.
