HAD ALREADY STARTED PRELIMINARY ACTION

CARSON, Nev., Tuesday, June 14. -- Mrs. Gladys Emery Aoki, daughter of Archdeacon Emery of the Episcopal Church in California, who married Gunjiro Aoki, a Japanese servant working at her home, is today quoted in an interview to the effect that she would withdraw her suit for divorce.

The young woman, whose marriage to the Japanese caused a sensation about a year ago, recently came to Nevada and instituted preliminary proceedings for divorce.

The couple were married in Seattle and there a child was born them. Aoki has been here for about a week and during that time has been a constant visitor with his wife and child.
