JAPANESE ASSOCIATION TROUBLES MATURING

Believed Within Next Few Days President Takahashi Will Be Deposed in Favor of T. Arai.

Insurgents in the Japanese Association of Washington have finally brought the internal troubles of that organization to a head and say that, within a few days, President C.T. Takahashi will be deposed. They charge him with mal-administration, neglect of duty and arbitrary exercise of power as presiding officer.

The internal trouble has been growing since the annual meeting of the association February 26, and reached an acute state yesterday, when Takahashi failed to answer charges against him. It is expected that another meeting of the association will be held within a few days and T. Arai, who opposed Takahashi in the last election, may be elected president.
