SPOKANE, Saturday, July 14. -- Serious trouble is expected by the Oregon Railway & Navigation Company at Tekoa this morning. White section hands, many of them married men who have worked for the company for years and who have homes at Tekoa, were laid off and their places taken by Japanese.

Serious trouble is expected as the white men are highly indignant and are making threatening talk.
