Citizens of North Yakima Intend to Bring Legality of Question Before Court.

NORTH YAKIMA, Tuesday, Jan. 25. -- Registration of three Japanese, all American born, for the city election has caused considerable stir in political circles. A.A. Nicol, living in the same ward with them has promised to bring the question of the legality of a vote to a test by challenging them. Wong Fon, Lee Fon and D.K. Dong are the names of the three who have sworn to affidavits that they are American citizens, Lee Fon claiming his birthplace as Seattle. City Clerk Brooker says he finds nothing to prevent their registration since they are American born. These are the first members of the yellow race to register here.
