Returning Nisei Vets Pleased at Welcome

NEW YORK, July 6. -- (AP) -- Members of the Japanese-American 442nd Regimental Combat Team, which won acclaim as the most-decorated unit in the United States Army, expressed pleasure yesterday on the greeting accorded them on their return here.

Sergt. Marcus Naito, 26 years old, of Philadelphia, said that after rejoining his wife, Mitzie, he plans to go to California. He said he met and married his wife in a Japanese-American internment camp in Poston, Ariz.

Pfc. Conrad Kurahara, 20, of Sacramento, Calif., said he hoped to resumed college studies in forestry.
