Newly Formed Organization of Portland to Hold Mass Meeting of Citizens to Discuss Yellow Peril.

PORTLAND, Friday, Jan. 10. -- Former United States Senator John M. Gearin and other men of prominence are announced to speak at a mass meeting of citizens to be held tonight for the purpose of considering the subject of Asiatic exclusion.

The meeting has been arranged by the Asiatic Exclusion League, an organization recently formed by the local trades unions and having for its chief object the exclusion from the United States of the brown and yellow laborers from the Orient.
