Seattle Jap Draft Evader Sentenced

BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 28.--(AP)--United States District Judge Chase A. Clark today sentenced Thomas Akio Hoshino, 25 years old, Seattle, to pay a $300 fine and serve three years and three months in a federal penitentiary for failure to report for Selective Service induction.

Hoshino was one of 34 Nisei from the Minidoka Relocation Center at Hunt, Idaho, convicted or pleading guilty to draft violations. One was acquitted.
