Race Men Replace Japanese Employees At Rainier Club

The Race men recruited from Spokane and Tacoma, Washington replaced Japanese bell boys and elevator operators at the historic Rainier Club last Sunday morning at 8 o'clock.

The conduct of the new crew elicited commendation from members and officials alike. They are a fine set of young men and are promising additions to Seattle's social set.

For the past 17 years, Mr. Willard Hailum at the check room, has been the only Race man employed at the Rainier Club.
