SUBJECT: Mother's Day
TO: The Best Mother in the World
Well Mom, this training we are getting now is plenty tough but so far I am in good health and Alice is also feeling OK. I hope that this letter finds you, Dad and all the family well. We are both looking forward to seeing you again before long but I'm afraid it will have to be after the 4th of July. Best of health to you and everybody.

APPROVED: For the Mothers of the men at Fort McClellan the Chaplain is offering special prayers on Mother's Day.
The Chaplain
I guess this form was made to send a greeting for Mother's Day. Alice & I are wishing you the best of everything. We heard that [illegible] was 47 which I thought he would be. We are only hoping that the day isn't far off when we will all be together again.
I'm sorry I haven't written in a long time but since I've been busy day and
quite a few nights including Sunday, I haven't found time to write so have been
letting Alice do all the writing. I see her (Alice) as often as possible as we
are just getting along fine.
Will try to write as often as possible.
Love,Regards to all please.
