AFFIDAVIT

STATE OF WASHINGTON
COUNTY OF KING

SADAKO ISERI, being first duly sworn, deposes and says:

1. That he, or she, was born in the City of KENT, County of KING, State of WASHINGTON, on the 22 day of AUGUST, 1918, as SADAKO ISERI, and that he, or she, is now known as MAE SADAKO ISERI;

2. That he, or she, herewith absolutely and entirely renounces and repudiates any and all other citizenships which he, or she, may knowingly or unknowingly have held heretofore;

3. That he, or she, further condemns the infamous machinations of the government of Japan and pledges himself, or herself, to cooperate in the successful promotion of our present total war against all of the Axis Powers;

4. That he, or she, has never taken an oath of allegiance to any government other than the United States of America; nor has he, or she, at any time given aid, comfort, or service to any agent of any enemy government; nor has he, or she, knowingly and with malice aforethought by act or deed, been disloyal to the United States of America;

5. That he, or she, hereby pledges anew his, or her, allegiance to the United States of America and declares that he, or she, has at all times been, and now is, attached to the principles of, and will uphold and defend, the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the State of Washington against all enemies, foreign and domestic; and

6. That he, or she, takes these obligations freely, without any mental reservations whatsoever or purpose of evasion.
