I wish to take this opportunity to express to you my appreciation for your sincere kindness rendered me during my stay in Santa Fe.

I arrived in Manzanar to join my family on the evening of December 23rd and I was indeed very happy. The trip across the wide country plains was very pleasant for the winter scenes was ideally evident.

For your every service given me I am grateful to you.

Trusting that you are in the best of health and enjoying the lovely winter in Santa Fe.

Kindly extend my sincere regards to Drs. Coomb, Tanaka, Furugochi, Akimoto, Yanagi, Sawamura, Uyemara and nurses to the Messers. Kubo, Suzuki, Miyako and Takahashi.
