Dear Father,

Well, how are you enjoying Minidoka camp life for a change? Hope everything's O.K. with you.

The letters of appreciation to Mr. Ennis, Mr. Dennis, and Mr. Pomeroy have been sent out.

My! But it was really good to see you again after all those months of anxious waiting. I (Toshi) was very glad to have met you. It was a surprise to see you so young-looking. I believe in your pictures of about two years ago, you looked older. Maybe you discovered the "fountain of youth"? Anyway, I am extremely happy to have you for my father-in-law.

You know, last night we went to Berger (3 1/2 mi.) and on the way home had our second flat. Our tires are sure a disappointment. The other two tires look like they'd get flats any day now. Guess we'd better not risk any more trips to Camp on it.

Say, could you please send me (Yosh) a blank check, numbered, for the expense of having the car send over? And how much should I give the person for bringing it over after paying all expenses? Please let me know.

Guess this is about all for this time. Please say hello to Mother, Kaz, Kiku chan, Aya chan, etc.

Lovingly, Yosh & Toshi
