ADJUTANT.

Dear Sir:

My dear friend Mrs. Morita, has informed me that her husband, Mr. Shinjiro Morita, now interned at Lordsburg, New Mexico, is to receive a rehearing on his case. On his behalf, I wish to vouch for his character and loyalty to the United States of America.

I have known Mr. Morita a number of years; and in the years he has resided in Seattle, Washington he has shown no disrespect towards this government or contributed in any manner that would prove detrimental to the United States of America.

In the past years he has established himself in the grocery business. Purchased a home for his children and established himself as a permanent resident in the state of Washington.

I do firmly believe that any person under these circumstances would hardly be guilty of any set that would be detrimental to the interests of this nation, and as an American Citizen, I unhesitatingly recommend him for your favorable consideration.

Respectfully submitted,
