Dear Joe & Towru,
Last night I went to see Donald O'Conner in "It up comes Love" with Gloria Jean. It was pretty good but not too hot.
It was eight before eight and I didn't do anything much so I went to bed and listened to the Hit parade. Last night, right in the middle of the night, it got real windy and dusty and all the windows were rattling and I couldn't fall back to sleep for quite a while so I got out from the bed & looked to see if the wind was dying down but gosh it was getting worse & you could even see the next barrack. I went back into bed & just before I fell asleep I heard an airplane. Remember the liberator I told you about, well it landed at the small airport because the engine was smoking. That thing was there for quite awhile. I guess they tried to fix it and tried to fly it last night. Thats what I heard in the middle of the night: This morning it was all smashed up out there by the airport. It probably crashed after I fell asleep. I was kind of excited when a guy said it crashed.

I went to sunday school while the cold wind was blowing & the snow is snowing on the mountains. When we were to depart for classes there were only 2 teachers. Well, after we were put into classes they said we were going to have a play for Christmas and so we picked parts. Mrs. Ichida said that Jack Takayanagi wrote & said the was going to marry Mary Takemura on the 26th of this month. Oh what a surprise! Everybody thinks Vic Yokotas going to marry a girl this month too.
The sweater that we sent to you Towru should fit okay.
Joe, What color sweater would you like to have? Blue? Black? Brown? etc.? Since we don't know your size try Towrus on & if it fits tell us & we'll make one the same size for you. Would you like it to be another lettermans sweater with 3 stripes???????
Keep good care of that cold. Especially during winter.
Got to go eat lunch.
So long
Masako
