Nov. 27, 1943

Dear brothers,

I got up at 10 to 8 and I was tired enough to stay in bed all day. Thats because I went to the show last night and the night before. On Thursday night I saw a Gloria Jean picture and last night I saw Star Spangled Rythme. Boy, star spangled rythme sure was a killer. Betty Hutton was the best of all. (rugged).

On Thanksgiving it didn't seem like we were having one but we did. Our dinner consisted of Turkey, sweet potatoe, celery, buns, fruit salad, pumpkin pie, turkey soup, cranberry, and that was pretty good. Also dressing. Many of the furlough workers came back and out of these workers were: 2 Uematsu boys, Mr. Kawamura, Mr. Fukuda, Mr. Imoto, Mr. Odahara, George Odahara, Roy Matsuda, Vic Yokota, Fred Nagai, and the Ishida Family. Kenny didn't come back but went to Oregon and Takeo I. came back but he's sick. Mr. Odahara brought back a lot of food & they gave us candy, eggs, (fresh), turkey & other goods. Man is it good. Also Mr. Nakamaki came back. Most of these furlough workers got back in time for the turkey dinner. Swell huh. I didn't get sick on turkey & I wish I could have had more. Tell me all about your thanksgiving meal & etc. I've been planning to play tennis with Hiro but it just doesn't work because of the wind coming up now & then. They had a Manza-knight dance the other night in our mess hall and Jimmy took Hiro but all that time Hiro was wondering if Jimmy

and Reiko had broken up.

Well school has been off my mind and I'm going to dread going back again. We had so many things to do on our vacation that it was killing me. What do you think of our dinner? Whats been cooking?

Im going to get that paper of sports section to you pretty soon so don't start pulling your hair out in a rage yet. I'm in quite a hurry that's why this writing will have to due for now.
