Dear Joe,

Well, I finally graduated high school and I'm enjoying a 2 week vacation. The reason it is only two weeks is because I have to go to summer school to make up for some credits since we senior bee's graduated in 2 1/2 years. We received your last letter concerning relocation and still feel as a family hesitant towards the idea. I, for myself, will undoubtedly be out by this coming January and plan to go to school but just where is still a mystery. It's a cinch I'm not going to Chicago because in the first place, there's too many booches out there and in the second place the invironment around the city sounds pretty shot. You know, every time I talk to either mama or papa about the idea, they sound rather pesimmistic about it so I don't get any place. Any-way, I don't think its so hot myself, at least not at the present time. I think after we have both settled down. then having brought out the true character of the Japanese, we can call our folks out. I'd like to think of the day when we can return home and not live here and there for a short length of time. As for me, I've got to think of a way to raise some dough for school so if you have any ideas let me know. By the way, Miss Ely went east and she is trying to get me the razor so don't attempt to get it for a while. She'll be back by the 26th so I'll let you then. The graduation was held in the firebreak between 16 and 17 block and in very impressive style. We wore royal blue cap and gowns with white tassels and the stage was decorated beautifully in white and trimmed in blue. Well Joe, I've got six other letters to answer by me so I'll have to close.

Sincerely,

Towru Nagano.
