Dear Joe,

We received your letter this morning and also one yesterday. We really feel good to hear from you. Gee you sure are good to us writing so often when others only write once a week.

Hay, did you take a good look at yourself and see the changes you have made during the work and things that you have done in the place you are at. (the changes of skinny and fatty). Oh yah, when you take the snap shots be sure to have yourself in some of them. Also some of the boys you talk about too. Theres nothing to tell you about in this letter because I told you practically every thing.

I gave mac the letter that you wrote to him and he said thanks a lot.

This morning I finally got up to go to breakfast but this time Towru didn't. After breakfast I replanted my lemon trees. Then watered them. After that I ironed and then polished my shoes. Mom washed yesterday so there was no wash to to washed.

Mom went to english class this morning and came back now and is reading you letter. She says that you write nice letters but she would prefer it just a little bigger. But do keep writing long letters huh? This morning when mom and I was going to to shake her blanket out came something and it was her under pants and boy I grabbed them and threw them into the house and mom asked me what it was and I told her and boy we just laughed so hard that we could hardly shake the blankets.

Towru just came home from work and aiji is also here. Does dike write?

About school courses, I thought that typing would be pretty good and so I took that course and I thought typing would be easier than shorthand so I didn't take it but do you think it would be alright if I took it next semester? Also I don't even know what course I am going for and what my career should be. Do you think it would be better for me to take a commercial course?

I hope these are not too many questions but these are things that will come handy in the future so I guess they are okay. I hardly ever sing during the day or any time so I guess that isn't so hot for me. Working must be a very tiresome job because you see the same old stuff.

When towru and momo graduated last week it was a beautiful sight with the blue gowns and blue caps with the white tasle hanging,

It sure has been hot lately and I didn't look at the thermometer but you cant even stay in the house without boiling. We stay out side till around 9:00 and even the beds are so hot that you have to pull the covers off and cool the beds off and turn the lights off in order to keep cool.

The old bachelors in front of our barrack always stare until you go crazy and they look into the house to see what you have so they are quite hated by the neighbors. Well I guess I better close and catch up with the other letters and write to the Boultons and neighbors.

(It seems like Im the only one in our family that wites so often to every body.

Good bye now.

Your Sis.

Masako
