Dear Joe,

How are you? We are all fine.

Couple of weeks ago I wrote to Mr. and Mrs. Boulton asking them to send me the typewriter. Well it came yesterday and boy I was really happy. I really like to type because it is lots of fun. I wrote to them right away thanking them for sending the typewriter. From now on you will probably get typewritten letters from me.

We received your letter asking to see the pictures of the football games and so Towru will send them right away. The snap shot you sent of yourself was really a nice one. You know how I am. I always like to make comments on things so I'll tell you what I noticed the most. Well, I thought you looked the same so by the glance of it, you looked the same. The second time I looked at it I had to look again because I couldn't see or believe that it was you. You really look like the way you described yourself. Gee the food must really be good because the snap shot really shows it. Cubby and chubby is rigt right. Say where did you pick up that cary Grant chin? Joe, how about sending me some of that good food you cook huh? Gee don't cook so much. I'm jealous that you will get to be a better cook than I am. Do you know how to bake cakes, pies, and cookies? If you do dont forget to save me some. Gee that awful food we get with no vitamins is the most terrific thing. Wee little me cant stand this camp that's why I keep a criticizing about everything in this camp.

Last night I went to the show and saw "Suspicion" and the other two weeks I

saw "The Tales of Manhattan and the "Footlight Serenade". Out of those three "Suspicion was the best of all. It was a picture of love afair but the husband was just a person who went to the races and spent money on things that were not needed. I cant explain it all but it was the academy award winner so it was very good. Did you see that picture? The outdoor theater is between block 20 and 21. We have pictures every week and they are all free so we are pretty lucky. Any way I'd rather be out and pay instead of being in a place like this.

Gee the mailman came and it's a letter from you. Thank you very much. You didn't ask any questions so I guess theres nothing to answer but when Florence comes watch out for the way you spend your money. (I don't trust that gal so much and a girl can really wreck a guy. Be careful.) Gee I hope they really don't smash this camp up. Dr. Bruce said that this camp will not be moved and said that it was a report from Washington. I hope that is true. Any way no signs of it.

This morning I washed my hair and cleaned house and help mama do the wash. Gee I sure have been working hard in school lately. I handed in three notebooks. I had one on relocation and the thirteen large cities in the u.s. and another one. Pretty soon another one is due. Pitty me. I never worked so hard in all of my school years. Yesterday we had our second assembly which was supposed to be a color day for the senior ayes but their sweaters didn't come so they were pretty sad. The assembly was a

talent show and Towru says that it sure was a corny color day for the poor poor senior ayes.

Heres a corny joke. Why did the moron cut off his left leg and left arm? Because he wanted to be all right. Ha, ha, ha. Why did the moron stick his head out side of the window? Because he wanted the wind to blow his nose. Well, I'm running out of words so I had better close.

(With all my love.)

Your little sister,

Masako Nagano

p.s. I looked at the shirt that you had on in the snap shot. Say your pretty good at ironing. Keep it up. When were at home and together again you can iron all my clothes for me and also cook my meals for me. It's 11:30 so I guess I better go to line. Adios.
