Hi Joe!

Just got your letter. Glad to hear that your in good condition as we are in the same conditions.

Right now I'm in study hall. The same as usual times. The first thing is that I finish all of my work and then write letter to all.

I guess I had better answer all your questions before writing about here.

I. Well I'm getting alone fine in school. Especially in my social living. All the work I hand in comes back with A's or B's no C's thank goodness but one of my weakest subjects are math and science. Science I get C's and my tests but math its really hard for me to understand.

2. The Iiyama's all volunteered except for Matsu and Hinie and Take went to get their examinations but both of them seem to have weak hearts. Kay was already drafed.

3. All of the guys (Hinie, Sonny, etc.) are almost firemen: this is what they do and lots of other guys that hang around when they don't work they are always playing Maguan that gambling game. At other times they play horseshoe and tire themselves out.

4. Yes, Nesee Vic Yokota but he's just nobody to me. He's always playing golf.

5. All of the neighbors are fine including the whole block.

6. Yes, Mom went to the hospital yesterday and had the hospital send your small pox proof to you.

7. Yes, I'll tell you the birthdates of our family. (Pop. Sept 12.) (Mom Feb. 28) (Towru Sept. 4) me Oct. 24

The weather has been funny for quite a while. For three days we had stormy wind. That bad dust. Then yesterday it rained like chickens & turkeys. Today the weather is beautiful with the sun shinning very bright.

Monday Towru & I went to see Who done it? Boy it was a good picture but that's the third picture I have seen of Costello & he's getting sorta stale.

Last night I saw a picture of different places and it was pretty interesting.

Next Saturday we are going to have a jungle picture in 14-15 boy our block sure is lucky now a days. But the block leader is getting little better. Say, that Ikari wants to even learn how to dance. Boy he sure is drippy. In school on windy and rainy days during gym the girls are learning how to dance, boy the girls really were excited. The first step we leaned was the Box Step (fox trot) gee, surprising isn't it? No news down here so I guess I'll question you this time.

How's everyone? Give my regards to all of them.

Now that the gang at temples place broke up, do you ever get to see Dike?

Dou you ever ride the bike at G.D.I. House?

I tried to total up your expenses but it just was too much.

We are all so happy to hear the Miss Ellis was good to you and wish that we too could see her.

Today Mieko Kitagawa left for Illinois.

Gee! Its getting windy again. This darn weather is sure terrible.

Well I guess I better stop.
