Dear Joe I am so glad you send letters to us so many times. Every time when I come back to home I ask mama about your letter that why we expect next good news from you. We thanks God that you and us all well. We are very happy to hear that you had reward best grade in class, but Mama afraid of some ones jorous so we keep in mind, but I told Mrs Nishigawa about this matter. She was very glad to hear that Mr. Takemura was left Manzanar for Chicago yesterday. You will meet at there very soon, and you can hear many things from Mr. Takemura. You said you are a bit of home sick. I dont blame you, because I have had same experience. When I came this country at age of twenty - fell plenty home sick. I never had felt so much about mothers love. When I wash my wear goods or cooking self or mending cloths, etc. I am quite realize Mothers love which sucrific every thing to children. In Japan says that people know mothers love after they got children but. It is too later to realize that. I think everybody must know when boyhood dont you? I am ashamed myself to asked about reward for very few labor, may be shoping messenger, and get few cents for candies alas! Mama never ask reward a cent for cooking, washing sewing, house kinping. Isn't it great mothers love. Your mother play for every night at ten. You better remember her in your mind. Then you will never fail.

Now Manzanar is begining sumber yester-day to day was awful warm. I saw many people wore straw hat. A man told me it was 87 to day. What a crazy weather it is last year. First groop enter this place water icy climate cold. Maybe they repeated same story. Now it is almost unbeliveable. Chery blossoms open in the Manzanar park oposit Takemurasan house. 1,000 Cherry trees planted by Mr. Uyematsu, Montebelo. Some time peace come Manzanar will be great famous cherry trees like Washington. Maybe thoushounds drive from south & north. We should recall our memorries and imagines what hapen on them. Some whisteria bloomed too if there any green glass covered must be wonderful. The mountains is always beautiful and all the trees starts new leaves. It seems to me every things awake from long sleep. last sat. and sun. was celebrate for one year since first group enter to camp. Stage was built 14-15 build side and many program were held there. but sunday was winday, the program postpond. sun - night I saw the jungle picture about same Bring back alive by Frank buck. few diferent is drama added. Frank caught by sabages and almost sucrificed, but later saved by their expeditoner. I like rather these pictures than love story. For instance, Kingkon, Tarthan. milion years ago etc. I am tired of modern pictures

You said you move to other place, if you think it better O.K. It is too fur away to advise anyway. but you dont change mind because only few dollars save. Dont save car fare 2 cents everyday It dos'nt mean anything. Your time is more valable. May be we can help you best I can do. A man came from Washington said Gokaisho is best recreation in Manzanar. I am very proud to hear that I am working for 12-15 hrs but never tired. about 150 people coming everyday. Can you read my poor letter it must steal your time. Well I dont bother anymore now 11 o clock.
