Dear Joe & Towru,

How are you? Gee how's about a letter, Joe. No letter today and Mom was worried because you didn't write.

I've almost finished Momas sweater for her. I have to finish the front and then that will be by Christmas. Also Towru, Higas-san said that there probably would be enough yarn left over to at least finish your letter mans sweater. She's already to the elbow. Swell huh. Mom ordered some blue yarn and said that she might make one for Joe. The green sweater sure looks better than the red one that I knitted.

I was going to send you the sports section today but I happened to run out of stamps and so I thought that a letter would be better. I hope that the sports news won't be a bore after the dates are a little later.

I see Aiji daily so I always ask what dike writes & he asks what you write & we get down to a big old conversation. Has Dike left already? I'm just wondering.

Towru, Jimmy yelled at me when I was watching our Sophomore play foodball and so I went to the courts & he said look! Yup! It was the tennis club picture come out. Swell too. Old Shari the bag still thinks he's good. Says the picture came out swell because he's in it. Hiro said the Friday you played tennis with her she felt okay & the day you left she had bad pains from tennis. Yep, the party was a success & every body told me that it was good. Aiji didn't come to school the day you left so I thought he had too much at the party but he said I went to see Dike off. Gee you didn't get much sleep that time huh.

You didn't even mention the draft card & while we worried you didn't think of it at all. What happened, you dope. Yah, I didn't cry. Now what do you think about that. Besides, I'm always an angel when your not around. So don't think your so hot eh! Now that your gone I get all orders. That's the worst part of it. One Friday we had a church meeting at our house & I sure didn't care for it. I had to wait out in the cold. So ya don't need sport shirts huh. Well, use them anyway. The extra clothes will be sent pretty soon. Also your dear graduation pictures. Say, don't you want those extra things like model airplanes, annuals (school) & tubes?

You didn't even say how you liked Chicago or nothing. I am making a list of questions that you can answer so that we can be more positive in so & so's.

Do you cook?

Well I guess that's enough to start you on. Don't forget to send back those shirts that only need the collar fixed.

Do ya miss me? I don't think so. Yah & that last letter said "Be a nice girl & maybe brother will bring you something home." Well, I don't be-lieve you. Yep, pop said he wanted a pocket knife and also a fountain pen. If your going to bring me back something, I'd like a pen & pencil set and a wrist watch. What do you think of that!!!! Hay, did you faint?

Night at the show, theres going to be 2 features. They are "Yank in the R.A.F. & Bombadier." Swell huh. So you went to the show eh. How'd you like it? Save me a seat. Gee, Miss Ely has a annual from Gila, & it really is well. Its bigger than the Chieftain. Its very interesting to see what other centers are like. They are trying to make a big annual this year and its really going to be something. How is your job?

Say, if you want to have letters sent to other people cheaper, just stick in the letters & I'll give them to the people. I bet you wouldn't do it any way. Say, be sure to answer all of those questions & so forth. This letter was really supposed to be for both of you but I guess it ended up being a letter to Towru.
