I am sorry I didnt have time to write to you for such a lon[g] time. I thank you very much for your letters very often. I was very much interested in your letters.

The weather should be very cold in Chicago, specially for Towru.

Joe, I think it is too hard to take 19 units, keeping your job. if the moneys so short, shall I send some? Or if Towru has a job he would like to help you, so you better quit your job right now.

Joe, please take care of Towru. He says "I am taking good care of my self and there is no shinpai"

But it is very hard for the first time. I trust that you will be a good example for Towru.

Please don't forget the determination that you made when you left Manzanar to go to Chicago

Joe I am glad that you could get a scholaship again. Please you sure be a good examplary student to the Student Council. When you had the first scholaship, I heard a rumor, but God know all about as you know.

Mrs. Takemura send three letters and a $50 check to us. She says that she had a good time with you and other young company. She says if we would like to relocate to Chicago, they could find job for us.

I dont know if Manzanar will be evacuated, if so it is best way to live whole family together.

Towru could you get a new job or not? I sent you your package with your graduation pictures. I kept one 5 x 7 next time I will send you heavy underwears, sweater and Moma's picture.

Joe, if your white shirts collars are worn out, I would like to change the collers (white only) so send back.

What kind underwears are wearing now? Joe, how do you like Towru's new flannel short? If you like that kind, I will make some for you too.
