Hi You Guys!

It sure was astounding to hear from you, Tor. I thought you kicked the bucket for sure with heart failure after those turndowns from 2 colleges. Well, were glad you're able to go to school & your both better after your colds kept you in bed for some time.

Gee, I'm sorry about the Japanese book but I don't think I'll be able to send it too soon because finals are coming again & this week we're all busy with some thing, so I hope it will be okay to send it to Davey some time.

Tonight we had a special dinner made by Mom, Ichien san, Tanaka san, Yuge san and Mrs. Koji – Bob's sister – and boy it was delicious. We had things such as ebi, maze-gohan, cha-shu, tomatoe, honeydew, cake, egg fuyan & some other stuffs which were delicious. The people we ate with were Reverend Ichida, Rev. Bovenkerk, Rev. Abe, Dr. Yuasa, & Rev. Charles Severns. The other ones were the Tanakas, Ichiens, Mr. & Mrs. Yuge, Mrs. Koji (Bob Hayamizu's sister, whose a friend of Mr. Severns) and finally us. Gee, it was some thing new. Gosh, it felt funny to use good manners again & eat with grace while Mr. Bovenkerk just kept on talking Japanese.

Gee, I hope we go back to the coast soon. Only one thing was or should I say is stopping the going back Home to the coast stuff is the housing condition. You can't kick them out and the only thing you can do is to evict the people which leads into a lot of trouble. Gee, what a problem. Well, I'm sure running out of space, so I'll write again when there's more time & space. So long for now & write soon.

Me
