Dear Joe,

Thank you for the beautiful book of postcards. Really it was swell except it was probably all made up so it would look very good. I don't want to be a copy cat but you have such good ideas writing on these cards. I just happened to have this extra 1 cent stamp left so I just copied your style and it sure is a good idea using these kind of cards.

Gosh I had a hell of a time trying to read your letter of Japanese writing and I actually had to take out the Japanese conversation Grammar book to read it. Glad you liked the shorts & socks. Hope you aren't getting too fat. Not tight huh?

Gee did you actually meet Tommy Iwasha. He's a swell guy. He came from Glendale. He sure was good in Ping pong. Used to live in block 17.

Well, Glad to hear your in good condition as we are the same. We had a chance to write a letter to Japan so we did but it was only 25 words. Well running out of space.
