Dear Joe,

Today I went to the post office and mailed the package of shorts to you. Mama also put in a pair of soxs. I think you will like them. As for the kool aide, it has not arrived yet so I am waiting. Towru often says, you don't need it any more Masako. "Then I yell back at him, "Okay, then you can't have any & then he says "oh yes I do." That's when we fool around and have fun.

Tonight I probably will go to the show & all through the rest of the week.

I'm glad that you at least write a card every day. Make us happy.

Again this week Mama has gone to make funeral flowers so I am all alone.

Last week Mama made me a new dress, a cool summer one. Boy I sure was glad. She also made 2 blouses & they are both made of cool material.

She hasn't finished one yet. I'm trying to sew a blouse but its pretty hard for me, But I try to do my best. Well almost out of space.
