Dear Joe,

This morning I got up and went and got my toast and eggs. I ate at home cause I wasnt very hungry and a little while later I ate it. By that time it was 8:00 so I went and mailed a card. I went to the block office and read the paper and it said that they kicked mussolini out and made the king the ruler. I had nothing to do so I went and washed clothes. After hanging them I decited to clean the house so just as I started pop came home and then took the paper. Then the mailman came & brought the foot ball pictures. I'm glad that U liked them as we all like the pictures that we got from you. I then continued to finish and then Towru came home. Finally I finished and here it is 11:30 and am I tired. U will have to wait for longer letters until they get the envelopes in the canteen and post office. Nothing has happened and the same old routine is still going on. Mom has been helping making flowers for the funeral and this has kept up for three days and it is very lonesome. I go over to the Odaharas or to the Nakamakis place. running out of space so will end and remain.
