Dear Joe,

Today we recieved your surprise letter which had your new picture in it. We all think you have changed very much. Moma was especially surprised because she thinks you look like you studied like anything. What do you think. Well we compared the 2 pictures, the one you sent & the one you took before leaving. It is nothing like pop when he was young. Boy you look so healthy, how about sending me some of your good meals huh! I only want you to know that were are all okay & just letting you know how much we enjoyed your picture. I have a Final tomorrow so I'll close. Love Masako & Moma
