Dear Joe,

I'm awfully sorry I made you mad as a hornet by telling you about that rumor but I had to let you know what really was going around. It's too bad Torm mentioned some thing too but now that we have told you, forget it.

All of our things are packed and are in good condition. We expect the things to be picked up by tomorrow. All pop has to do is to go down to Relocation to get the bus tickets and what grants there are to be received.

Gosh, I can't believe that we're actually going out around Saturday. Just four more days before we actually go back.

Miyo and Aya Nishi went to L.A. and stayed for two weeks. They said they had the time

of their lives. When they got back, they thought it was all a dream. They say L.A. is pretty foggy this year and everybody is wearing braids in order to keep their hair from coming down straight. They said there were a lot of Mexican and negro girl zoot suiters. They wear their pompadours six inches high and wear 2 big flowers in their hair. Wear long draped slacks with chains hanging down to their ankles and long jackets with the length down to their knees. I can already imagine how they look.

Well, I better call it quits for I'm in no mood to write letters.

Mas

P.S. I'm dropping you a post card to show you a picture of U.C.L.A.
