Dear Joe,

Well, you don't blame me for worrying do you? Gee, the way I would get poor grades, I was ashamed to show it to anybody. I'm never going to take it easy in school, again. I hope Tor is doing good on his finals!

Nope, my finger is fine. Sometimes I can feel a slight bit of pricking but I guess that's not so frequent! No scar either! At first I got so darn excited that I could only feel like being dead.

Well, something is fishy Joe! I just can't imagine the Boultons not saying anything. It's really not a matter of rushing the Boultons to make the Affoulters shoo out but it's just the feeling of being on the safe side. If the OPA has given the eviction notice they would send you a notice stating that they had given them a thirty day notice. Joe, at first I felt as though the Affoulters had to get out but now I don't care if they don't get out until August. That's as long as I can stay and then return to get a start in school around in Sept. I say I don't care if the Affoulters don't get out until August because I've got a job now and the days don't seem to be as monotonous as they really used to be. I hope they find a place.

Talking about my job I finally did get it. I went to the Legal Aid where I was to work but there were two of us where there was only supposed to be one. I lost and was to be transferred to another office. When I took that job, I felt so darn disgusted I nearly could have poured tears! I went to Relocation although in the morning I did work for the Legal Aid. Legal had a little office where everybody was together. Now I'm at Relocation where I'm in a private room with my own desk. I went to work as a clerk typist but now I'm a stenographer. I take dictations, write letters, file extra things in my box, send invitational notices, type stencils, do other dictation for another person, answer telephone calls, and more. My boss is Miss Pearlson, a very swell lady whose really broadminded. Well, I feel like a big shot now. Boy, when there's a big day ahead of you, your worries continue on and on.

I guess I could write more but working gets my hand tired so may I quit and write again soon.

Only,

Mas

P.S. I'm getting pretty well cooked with the degrees of 100 coming on. I could crawl into a refrigerator!
