Hi Joe,

I'm pretty excited, for tomorrow I'm going to see if I can be employed. The employment office sent me a referral card to work in the attorney's office as a clerk typist. I hope I'll be hired! Wish me luck, okay?

Has the OPA told you the exact date?

Over a hundred people relocate weekly and there are really a lot of short term leaves. I can hardly wait till my day really comes.

At Miss Potts house, we had a farewell party for Teruko Motooka. I made the sandwiches and helped prepare the party. That's because I was the only one that wasn't working!

The whole Motooka family went to Chicago yesterday. First they headed for L.A. I think they took the Southern Pacific route which goes by Texas, Kansas City and so forth. I guess they went to Kay's place.

Momo is here. She just arrived yesterday. Their family is relocating to Denver, Colorado. She's

going to go to summer school in Denver and then return to Boston in Sept. when the semester starts. They are going this month. Momo goes this Thursday. Aiji is in the army at Texas. I forgot what happened to Dyke.

Well, I'll close. This card like letter is just to let you know all is well.
