Dear Joe,

I am sorry that I didn't write for such a long time. How are you feeling? Still weak or quite well? Please take good care of yourself. I am praying every night for you boys.

First I should tell you about the Dependency Forms. The next day you sent the Blank, Papa went to the Red Cross to ask to have it filled and two days later it was sent out by my name. Then Apr. 11th I received first check $37. I appreciate it very much.

Shall I send it to Towru or save it for you?

George Ichien visited camp before Easter Sunday and stayed about two weeks. He told that we Japanese people who stay in camp can ask

our boys for emergency furloughs through the Red Cross. If we go out, we can't ask for it anymore. I asked George to tell you about it. Did you hear from him? I wish you could come back in May or June. Please write to me and tell me your opinion.

Joe we wrote to Mr. Boulton about one month ago, but he didn't answer yet. We don't want to hurt Mr. Affoulter's feeling. Mr. Odahara asked his tenants to move out about two months ago, but they are still staying there. They stole everything that was locked in his garage. Mr. Odahara went back to W.L.A. recently but his family is still staying in camp until the Mexican family moves away.

We have to give enough time to our

tenants to find their house. O.P.A office says "three months."

We have very nice weather after ten days dust storm. Day time little too warm. Mr. Unawa already back in L.A. Mrs. Sugasawara died last week after five months her husband's death.

I will write you as soon as Mr. Boulton answer to us.

Please take good care. I am hopping you get quite well.

Good by,

Your Mom
