Dear Joe,

Today I would like to inform you on some important news. Yes, our decision has become final upon our relocation problems. Joe, we have decided to go back to W.L.A. to our place.

I wrote a letter to Mr. Boulton telling him all about our plans. I told him that the Western Defense Command gave us our permits to be able to go in the War Zone Area. Then we were not planning on going back until the war was over but since the ban was lifted they have forced us to make plans to relocate because the camp is closing. Also the school is ending on the 31st of May with no fall semester so that would mean I would have to go out before Sept. to start school unless I would want to get behind. I said that to Mr. Boulton and I think he will make our request to the Affoulters. I told him to tell the Affoulters to find a house within the next three months. That would mean that they would be out by July so we could go back in July. Oh yes, the ruling is 3 months at the least for the tenants to find a place and be out. Now if the Affoulters do not object & cause trouble for us, things will turn out very well. If we are back by July or go back in July, it would be good for you because your furlough would be spent at a real home. Isn't that Swell!
