Dear Towru,
Thank you very much for the letter which caused you to take great pains in writing.
Right after school I am going after the things which you sent. Mom hasn't come home from work so she hasn't read your letter so I don't know what to say about the zipper but I'll tell you later.
Thanks again for the watch. Also for the music sheet. You know, the other day, I went into the recreation hall and practiced like the devil and within three hours, I learned the whole piece. Now I play it perfect. I'm still going to get a hold of that song I used to play and also I'm going to try and get "Rhapsody in Blue." This is to show how much I am getting to like piano.
Last night, the ManzaKnights sponsored a picture to the whole camp in behalf of their second anniversary. The show was "Higher & Higher."

Towru, remember the part where the guy was pushed into the elevator and came into a strange room when he pushed something, it was real quiet at the show and some crazy San Pedro screamed and scared the dickens out of everybody. Tonight, the Manzaknights are showing "Iron Major" with Pat O'Brien. One of those football pictures.
The weather has been real good. Every day it gets hot and runs up to the nineties. Boy you ought to see me sweat.
The school auditorium has practically been finished. It needs all of the electrical things and a bit of painting.
We are going to have one of those carnivals here in camp but there will be no gambling this time. Miss Kramer wants us to sell something so we may sell food and have a game going on. I think this will help pay for our banquet.

Our banquet is near and I can hardly wait till the time comes. Rabbit will be our main dish (not hiers)
I hope you guys got the flowers okay. They are made real well. A lot of effort has been used by mama.
The soph's are going to have sucker day here at school and we also are sponsoring a dance for the seniors.
I never write because I can't think of anything but as soon as I got some stuff to say I'll write.
Obstensibly (as you say)
Mas
