Dear Joe & Towru,

I received Towru's letter which waiting every day. Thank you. I am glad that you could arrive in safely although the trip was not as comfortable.

Today nine girls left to Eastern states including Aikyama girl. After you left to Chicago Mark, Ishida family Moriyama family, Nakagi's son, Eday Muraoka, left to farm work. Mr. Odahara and George are planning too.

Today is April 26, we came to Manzanar two years ago, you remember? And today is physical examination day for boys.

Yesterday Mrs. Boulton send me a nice letter. They appreciate very much for Easter lily which I send to them. They are all well, but

Mrs. Boulton's mother passed away two days after Easter. I hope you should send deep sympathy to her. The boys were not drafted yet, but Bily is expected into the Army some time.

During writing this letter Masako brought Joe's letter. Thank you very much for it. Please excuse me that I couldn't write so long.

Joe I ordered your sweater yarn about two months ago, but the Co never answered, so I will ask once more. I think you have heard enough from Towru about camp. We were realy kind lonesome after Towru left again. When I cam from station Masako were still sobing. We are waiting very much Joe's coming.

We are all OK so don't worry about us. Towru Did you take some omiyage to Mrs. Ohi when you did go? (cake or candy)
