You wrote me feel not good on eighth, Friday. Then I waited letter, surprised Roy's air mail open with fear but delighted he says Ma is well. Is it true? I hope so. Its full six pages but [illegible] tell him save paper little bit. Show him one page letter (some joke) thank him for minutely letter rejoicing! He going to church on Sunday and he said praying every night in the dark after Ma goes to bed. He works 8 hours every weekdays include hour and half of lunch time. How much he get? Says paid 12.50 for logger's shoes beside tough heavy work shoes which most needy for muddy outside job. Good food lot of vitamins for young men to work. Camp life is opportunity for him to sufficiently cultivate of character, also to make Japanese friends.

I am very well and busy office service. I am sorry to Mrs. Masuyo, old man gone, give my best regards to Mrs. Masatoku, Tadashi too. How is Misao she don't like write? Mrs. Kakuno and her daughter not working? You know my status is not clear determining whether should be released, paroled, or interned as far as I know, yet with many friends here, thank God I keep pure heart. Clean hands by thy guidance to loyalty of America. I am proud son George join Army as volunteer and serving at Camp Robinson Arkansas. Roy wrote me George will be lieutenant in near future. I feel lonesome today, so I read Bible and your letter again to animate myself in love of conjugal and divine. Please best care yourself.
