May 7th

My Dearest Katsuno: --

To-day full five months since compelled to separate dear. Thank God we are well by thy mercy each other in Blessing. I am happy to know that you are enjoying good health and working with vigorous in the center. Received letter from Mr. Sawada to-day. I learned Rev. Kodaira's resignation refused by Japanese committee and many negotiation with first Church were abortive. So Japanese Church sorry without Elder in case evacuation, added complain about theirs engagement too. Mr. Matsuda's wife going soon he sayo but it is to be regretted. She miss you and Shimomura family too. I have good cherry branches with bloom on my table so expect some blossom on next Sunday Mother's Day. I will eager to pray for the world peace as I take charge of Sunday service here.

May 8th

I reading psalm every morning regularly but one chapter, today [censored] one chapter dairy [daily]. Have you Sunday service there? Who is pastor. Robbins [robins] singing here all day, early morning give us pleasure and cheer. Fine scenery of mountains from here specially the view of shine or shade at sunrise or sunset times. Please best care yourself dear! Give my best regards to Okada, Misao, Seiji and wife, Ikuko, Itoi, Sunohara, others.
