My Dearest Katsuno: --

Thanks your loving letter 4/7 and very glad you are well and faithful, calm spirit you have. Yes I am all right, if your problem of evacuation are well. I watch the development of the event. I am happy to hear Mr. Uyeda baptized on Easter Sunday, and thanks gratitude your Easter offering. Three respectful pastors gone last week and two others going back near future. I don't know who will deliver the sermon on Sunday service after they gone? I typed and sent postcard to Roy yesterday [censored].

4/16

I heard Radio news some of you going to Puyallup. I think its better than anywhere else they went because to avoid any incidental occurrence you are under Government care.

It's wise way you sold your Buick and some furniture. Tell Mr. Schear to express my gratefulness for his kindness. I told Matsuda about his son's job. Enclosed a bloom of evening primrose blossom what raise (grow?) in my tinpot on desk. I learn [censored]. I accept a watch (plain) for commemoration as Vice Mayor when Mayor Taoka left last week, by name of Fort Missoula J. town. Everybody well but decreasing our population. Please take good care yourself.

With love

Your loving Genji
