A.M. March 9th 1942

How are you dear. I guess you are very busy as working for my burden too. Its means double effort. That is make me worry about your health and to fall in unbearable love to you. How is the Restaurant Business. I wish be better and pray every morning at 6:30 (5:30 Seattle war time) dawn. Saturday night I dreamed you and George managing large cafeteria at thriving town but all the employee are white people hard workers, and prosperity. This Monday morning at 6:30 when I got up, the robbins [robins] singing on east side wire fence, make me think you look at window and find a shining star Venus. She is symbol of you, or your mirror.

How is your Evacuation and its problems? I watch the news very carefully every day. I do only pray to heavenly father, "please do not load any more on my dearest one's shoulder. She impose enough heavy burden for me. Ask thy strength help to her."

P.M. 2

I met Mrs. Date this afternoon about 1/2 hour and talk many things. Thanks $5.00 cash -- 2 pants and nice Japanese Bath Robe. I will send you a power of attorney by mail later. I surprised when Mr. Date came to call in mayor office 1 P.M. for visitor. I went and find she is Mrs. K. Date.

With Love. G.M.
