It is spring time March first today and Sunday, we had Sunday Service. 12:30 Dr. Rice pastor of Missoula Babtist [Baptist] Church preached a sermon about "prayer" to 300 audience good listeners and Rev. Nakajo translate into Japanese. Mr. Arima attend too. Sorry Mr. Shigekazu Hagama L.A. man, dead this morning. He is 2nd man passed at here. We going to have his funeral service tomorrow-night. This is Hashimoto's birthday to-day South Park man. I met Mr. Matsudaira Ichiro who is S.F. [illegible] Bank man 34 yrs brother of Setsuko denka, he attend as a member of Recreation dp. which I supervise here. He is a son worthy of his father indeed. Also met Mr. Sato Portland Furuya Co. He is just like Mr. Date.

Monday. Yesterday and today very warm about 45 degree outside shade. How is Business? How the boys. Last Wednesday Mr. Kitamoto (you know jeweller [jeweler]) & Mr. Hayashida both Winslow men came here. Both are Arima's brother in low [law]. Will you ask Roy to write me sometime, you have no limit to send me letter. Did you move to APT. I think very very hard work and trouble.
